Today we have a study of three (3) common snares used by Satan to deceive people. By making sexual purity, fiscal restraint, and verified Biblical education look boring, difficult or unnecessary, Satan is able to turn people, even well meaning people, away from God and down the path of sin.

Listen to this sermon for a great reminder of the importance of living responsible, accountable lives based on the Word of God as it is found in the Bible.

The Blessing

The Blessing is a celebrated tradition among the Israelites where a father passes a blessing onto his grown son. There are many stories and examples of this practice documented in the Bible. The book of Genesis offers some fascinating accounts of how this blessing was used, and unfortunately sometimes stolen.

The Blessing is a way for a father to express his love to his children. This is a very fitting topic for Father’s Day as we reflect on our love for our children.

Hebrews 13:1-3. Click here for this sermon.

The wonderful hymn “They Will Know We Are Christians By Our Love” is not only fun to sing; it is also very true. Throughout the Bible are verses exhorting us to demonstrate love and compassion to our neighbors. As an added challenge, many verses also instruct us to demonstrate love and compassion to our enemies as well! Listen to this sermon for a great study on Christian Love.

Two words that often come up during our discussions on the Christian faith are “Hallelujah” and “Hosanna”. We are familiar with these words, we read them in the Bible or other Christian Literature, we sing them in songs, we even speak or exclaim them from time to time. But what do these words truly mean? Where did they originate? Pastor Brent gives us a solid understanding of these two important words so that we can know what the real meaning of each is; and so we can incorporate them into our daily lives with the confidence of knowing their full value.
